Cute Japanese tourists take pictures, but you can tell by the girl's facial expression that this is a scary place.

Note the bench on the left. One can sit and ponder the big sand pile all day...

Locals and tourists walk past the big sand pile as if it has always been there...

Usually one can tell how the sand arrived there--dozer tracks, big hole in the beach sand--grass torn up, but not this time...
